You need one in parts? Really though, it will cost more to ship then to just get another from a junk yard.

This is the encouragement I needed to do my own C4.
I've got 2 right now, one from each car, and they're so cheap I probably can't even sell them. Maybe if I rebuild them both I can scrape enough to get a solid T5. Not looking like it's in the cards right now though. I'll do fine with a C4, I would just prefer a stick.

No junk yard up here has a C4. All the old stuff has been gone for years. I rebuild transmissions, and I would rather run a C4 than the FMX in the 71, mainly so I can get a decent stall for it cheaper, not because the FMZ doesnt work good. I have two of them in Nebraska, but that is 850 miles away.

Besides a C4 is stupid easy to rebuild, you dont even have to worry about cutting the clutch drum seals since they dont have a lip.

Weigh it and find out what shipping to 49822 is.

I'll weigh it out over the weekend. I'm keeping the bell housing just in case I decide to go back to a C4 with my 164 tooth flywheel, I have another c4 sitting in the shed that came out of the car. The tail is also a long tail since the trans came out of a Versalle.

Wait until summer when everything is running and I can send you my other complete C4. Not ready to part with it until the 4R70W conversion is complete.

$278 is the quote based on weight but I've never found them to be accurate, usually its more.
