Default Day after Christmas Snow

My dog isn't laying down. You should have seen him try to take a dump.

My car isn't good enough to get a garage spot in the family. Left side is my dads 64 GMC and right is my moms 09 Highlander. However since about Friday the GMC has taken the whole garage, my dad pulled the engine and put and is putting new heads, intake, and other things on.

At least they don't throw salt down onto the road in Alabama after it snows. I imagine it can disrupt many people where they aren't prepared with snow removal equipment. The cold temps make it hard to work on the cars.

That was the same storm that dumped 3inches in North Carolina. I grew up in Massachusetts until I joined the Army 18 years ago. In Mass., we measure snow in feet and down in North Carolina the world came to a halt with this 3inch blizzard of 2011 that we had yesterday.

We got one inch here in Arkansas and the schools closed. This time it was just snow and not the usual ice.

when I lived in Jackson Mississippi we got 2 inches of pure snow and I saw more vehicles in the ditch than I could count. It's funny how people in the south don't understand how to take it easy when your driving in snow.

If people in the South hear snow its automatically cancel schools and go buy milk and bread. Still don't understand why people buy milk and bread though, I'd buy soda and like chips or something.

I worked up north a few years and I can tell you its a lot easier to drive on northern plowed salty roads than on lightly snow covered southern hilly untreated roads.

I saw plenty of northerners wiped out on I-75 in their 4x4's.

Black ice in the Rockies was interesting.

On news today, BMW spun tires in snow till car engulfed in flames..very smart.
