I don't bat an eye at 3.0 cause no OD here.
If I found a deal on 3.27 I would snag it.
Don't think I could handle more than 3.55 on interstate w/o OD.
That T5 would come in handy at times.

I know what you mean...I am running a 4:11 gear with no OD and highway driving for more than a few miles gets very tiresome....I keep waiting for Santa to bring me that TKO 600

I run 3.89 gears and a TKO 500 with the .64 5th gear and it's perfect. I have 25" tires. It's no race car but it accelerates nicely and does awesome on the highway.

3.73's on the highway with steeper gears it would feel like your running at a very high RPM like the tranny needs to shift but there's not another gear. Also consider your rear tire size as that will impact the effective gear ratio

I'm running a 9" 4.56 with a Keisler RS600. 26" tires. I'm running the original 289 ported, polished and blueprinted 2 years ago. I'm doing 55 mph @ 2500 rpm but can still get off the line in a hurry.

Well, looks like I'm officially going to a T5 after reading all this. Was consider keeping my C4 to save a little cash, but that's out the window with a 3.73 trac-loc rear end going in.
