I was high bidder but did not meet the reserve. The owner did ask me to make him an offer and he said I was to low. I asked how much it would take and have not heard back from him yet. I would have thought that I would have been in the ball park for a car that was missing 1 wheel and spindle and had the origional motor tore down and in boxes, needed floors and front fenders. I guess I will wait and see what he comes back with and if it is doable or not.......

Seems like all muscle cars no matter what condition have gone through the roof even in this economy. Thanks Barrett Jackson!!!!!!

Be patient, wait for the right Mustang. Sounds like you want a big project. Hope your pockets are deep. I would look for a Mustang with a solid floor and fenders. Just my $0.02.

How bad do you want a 71? How big of a project do you want? I happen to have a 71 I would be willing to part with, click the link in my sig to see what I have done already. Also I could finish more of it for you if you want, get it in paint and put the 2V back in it. Its not a MACH1 but it is a sportsroof. Most of the hard work has been done already.
