What type of spray can or paint do you use for your engine bay?

You should be fine going with Dupli-Color or Krylon paints. Don't mix paints either. Stick with one brand as the formulations can be different. Also don't cheap out and buy any Wal-Mart special paint as it is crap at least for an engine bay.

I just used some Krylon black primer and then Krylon Satin black and I love it. Its perfect, not shiny but not dull. My neighbor came over today and actually told me of some spray cans I can order that they use for engine bays. He's a talented guy and knows how to paint and bodywork and fabricate etc. So Im gonna order what he reccomended (i forgot the name) but I will find out another day. Im definitely going with satin black on the bay and some parts. Other parts Im gonna get powdercoated.

theres this spray can stuff at an auto parts shop near my house, it engine enamel paint and comes in a bunch of different colors. I used it to paint my valve covers and carb cover seems like it drys quite hard and looks good, will need multiple layers (5+ for best look/scratch resistance.) costs about 6 bucks a can. heres a pic:
