I saw where I posted AFTER I hit submit. If a mod could move this I would appreciate it A LOT.

I'd simply repost in technical forum, someone will come up with something there I'm sure

If those are indeed stock or HD springs, it should not be that low. I posted earlier about my friends 68 with Shelby drop and 1 inch lowering springs. I saw his again last night and his is actually a bit taller than yours is. So something is off. Are you positive you did the Shelby drop right?

They should kill this forum. Why the hel! do we need 2 different forums for classics?

But, I did the Shelby drop and put in 620 drop coils and mine sits perfect, not quite as low as yours. I have about 1" between the fender lip and the top of the tire, when looking from the side.

I can see the reason there are two forums.

Really? One is called "Classic Mustangs" and the other is "Classic Mustang General Discussion". What is the difference?

I kinda see why we have 2. The reasons I see it is that Classic Mustangs covers everything (which is good cause you see that forum first) and the "General Discussion" is for more, well, general stuff. Like some off topic stuff and general car info.
I think it's a little more confusing for those who don't visit the forum as often.

Maybe think of this 'General Discussion' forum as being a place for nontechnical discussions partway between hard tech and 'Off-Topic', and I'm guessing that it's preferable for threads here to be related to things Classic or at least vaguely automotive such as scootchu's garage experience.

The S197 section has more than one "General Discussion" forum, for questions not involving powertrain, chassis, or appearance but tied to particular sub-models.
