So I'm going to change my 68 to EFI and I have the unmolested harness from the 1990 donor car. Now I'd rather modify the harness myself but due to time constraints and my ability I am leaning to purchasing a harness from Ford Fuel Injection or somewhere. Is there a company that buys original harnesses or one that will mod my harness for less than the cost of a new harness? Thanks.

if youre getting the mass air computer included 150$ a9p(auto but can be used with manual trans) a9l is manual trans only

You can do it. It'll be better if you do. You can put all the pieces exactly where you want them, and you'll be intimately familiar with the wiring of your system. Yes, it will take some time, but the reward is knowledge.
