Not to split hairs here, but an LS6 is not a 350.....
Once I heard the owners intent, I knew I needed to post about it here...
Good thing Soaring ain't here anymore <r.i.p.>, otherwise I would be BANNED for sure... lol
Alright im gonna call BS on this. Everybody knows that GM has only ever made the 350. The 305 is the small 350. The 454 is the large 350. And the 350 refers to itself in the third person.

That is because the 350 is the best engine ever made.
LOL,
IMO the Windsor design is way ahead if the SBC by virtue of its "non-Siamese" port design alone, but then again, the LS series of engines are a better DESIGN than any Ford push rod engine.
Not saying that I would not prefer a Ford in the 66, at this point in my life I prefer Ford engines period.... but you know....
LS6:
Displacement = 5.7 L. / 346 CID
Bore x Stroke = 99mm x 92mm / 3.90" x 3.62"
Compression Ratio = 10.5:1
Horsepower = 385/405 HP @ 6,000 RPM
Torque = 385/400 #-Ft. @ 4,800 RPM
RedLine = 6,500 RPM
Fuel Cut OFF = 6,600 RPM
A 03/04 cobra is 390hp and that is with a blower.
