Default LS 6 in a 66 coupe? (LOL)

I have a customer that is thinking about having me do a project for him.

He knows exactly what he wants, TCI front and rear suspension and a CHEVROLET LS 6 in his 66 coupe.....

IDK, I say his money his choice, and I will pretty much do what he wants with his car....

EVERYONE agrees with me right?

sacrilege :P

there no reason to put a chevy engine in a ford car, especially a mustang. theres plenty of ford engine that make similar power to an LS6

The ls6 is pretty mean and no bigger then a 351w.I would talk him out of the tci stuff the front is a mustang 2 kit the rear 3 link the lower links are tiny and uses a panhard bar vs a watts link.

You'd probably spend about double what the LS6 setup would cost for a Ford equivalent engine.

If it was my car, I would go Ford all the way, but this guy has his mind made up about the LS6, I will see what I can do about the suspension, I have a little time to make recommendations, I have to finish his Fairlane first.....

Should give me 6 months or so to get things worked out...
