Default Bought a lift!!!

I bought a used 5500 lbs Benwil that will fit in my garage. Seller is going to deliver it this week. I could have bought a 7000 but the base plate is 12' and that would eat up too much real estate in the garage. Pretty excited.

I have a question about the anchors. Do I use the expandable concrete anchors or is there something else out there that is better?

Congrats! My buddy bought a lift several years ago and has been asking himself why he hadn't done it earlier. I, too, benefit from his lift, as I get to use it about whenever I want. My next house will get one for sure. The days of laying on my back on cold hard concrete are over!

Sorry man, I was out of state when they installed my lift. I have wondered about how the anchors were installed. I know one thing, you DON'T want to have to worry about these things coming out.

The only thing better than having a lift is having a buddy with a lift! Should be a great tool.

I would use the expandable bolts and hilti epoxy. They won't move!

i have a 4 post lift, its pretty nice, wont go up all of the way because a car would hit the garage door opener unless i turn the lift sideways, but that would take up 2 bays

I just swamped out leaf springs on my lift.......was certainly far easier than the last time I did it on my back under jack stands

Dodgestang- I see you have the best of both worlds with the scissor jack combined with the 4 post lift. That's nice.
