Roof repair for new vinyl
This is a project I did a few year ago. Had a lot of surface rust when I removed old vinyl . Clean it up and used POR 15 Silver which has some fiber in it to make it stronger . There was some real thin areas where I used POR 15 Exopy That was not fun smoothing out but it is strong and help build up those thin areas.

Use POR15 High build primer. Everything was brushed since I was going to cover it with new vinyl. I primed and sanded about 6 times to make sure it was good and smooth.Had a shop install the new vinyl that I got from NPD ,the guy said it was a pretty good piece of vinyl to work with . I am very pleased how it turn out.
