Default '65 Mustang Instrument Panel Lights

Am thinkiing of changing the instrucment panel lights from the incandescent bulbs to LED. Any landmines I will step on if I do?

Personally, I wouldn't do it. I have incandescent bulbs in mine and it works fine. I like the classic look. If its dim, clean and repaint the inside of the back of the cluster and get new bulb covers.

I've seen more than one 65-68 Mustang with LEDs that actually had worse illumination.

I love my LEDs. Dig around and you'll find a post here from a few years ago of someone telling a do it yourself. I did it and this is what it looks like:
