Waffles.. $4,500.. The family is just awesome. I went over and talked to them, and was honest that I would love to have it but couldnt afford anything over $4k as my offer. I showed them my Grande and we talked for a while.. which included me twlling them that I could buff out some slight scratches in their black F150 as a good neighbor. And they told me that they had already turned down a 5k offer from a church friend of theirs. So I told them about Oak, how his family could probably better meet their asking price and that I would be by during the weekend to buff out the trucks scratches. I had pretty much given up on the car.
So I left that day, and returned Saturday with a microfiber towl and some rubbing compound/quick wax. The lady said that they liked me, and would like to offer the car to my family for 4.5k because they liked us. I told her we would consider it, got their info for Oak just in case, and then polished up their truck.
We decided to go for it.. Sorry Oak.

I just got back from spending a month in Thailand and a month in Singapore. I missed my car the most....sad story....
Anyways, did you buy the car yet? Maybe you're outside woring on it right now.
Btw, Justin (booger) fixed up both front quaters and grille on his coupe after a friend rear-ended someone when the brakes "went out". He does awesome garage home type work. I can't wait to see how this car turns out in a few years.
