Default Auto choke exhaust feed tube

Warning amateur!
I'm working on a '66 289 engine. The tube that goes from the carb to the exhaust manifold (auto choke function, I assume) is broken at the exhaust manifold. There's only the hole left in the manifold (see photo and please pay no attention to the epoxy goop around the tube). I can't tap the manifold casting obviously. And I've been to every auto parts store in town for the fitting that, I'm guessing, press fits into the manifold with no luck. Is there a trick I can perform or is there a source for the missing part?
Thx

I'm glad nobody responded to this post. You can, of course, drill and tap a manifold casting (you just can't weld it). So I did and it's fixed and the engine purrs now.
Thanks everyone who didn't respond.

They reproduce that tube.
