How will mid-eye leaf springs look on my car?
#11
Thanks for the pics Justin, that gives me a better idea of what 4.5 leaf mid-eyes look like. They look great on your car, but it also looks like your front suspension is about an inch or so lower than mine (hard to tell with the different wheels). To keep a similar rake it looks like the standard eye will work well for my setup.
I would possibly take you up on that offer to switch wheels but my car currently isn't in SD. I just moved down here a few months ago and haven't brought my mustang here yet. I'll likely be headed up to Long Beach (where it sits) this weekend to do a lot of work on it before I drive it down. New carb, fix a coolant leak, oil change, put on my long tube headers, get 2.5" exhaust installed, and hopefully rear suspension. I'm sure there's more too, need to make a list...

Sounds good! I sent an email to John at opentracker to get a quote and I'll likely be putting my order in for them as soon as I hear back. I'm excited to put some miles on a proper rear suspension setup that'll match my front.
