Smile My Story!!

Hello Guys!!!

Well, Here is my story. I have a 1967 Mustang Fastback in my garage for the last 12 years. I've been wanting to make it an Eleanor Clone. Every year when I want to restore it, something else always came up. Finally, I just gave up the idea, but still had the car.

This year for Christmas, My wife gave me a Classic Mustangs calendar (that's ALL I got). I was a little upset, cause I've spent a-lot of money on her and my two boys, and all I got was a “calendar”. So I threw it on my desk in my office and I went to the kitchen to start on our Christmas brunch turkey.

My wife kept bugging me to hang up the calendar, so after I put the turkey in the oven, I proceed to open the calendar to hang it up.

On the January page was some writing from my wife in red sharpie, it said “Merry Christmas Honey!! Now go and get Eleanor fixed up!!” I was in complete shock!! I ran to her and give her a huge kiss (both my boys went “EEWWWW”).

Next thing I knew, I found a builder I trust (I know NOTHING on how to restore a car, let alone an Eleanor). Ordered a bunch of parts, and now she is on her way!!!

Here are some pictures, Hopefully it is in order from when they picked it up, to test fitting, sandblasting, primer, and attaching the body kit. I have a Rod and Custom front end coming, a Heidt's 4 Link with billet Coilover for the rear end.

Found a 429 big block with a mild cam that will power this bad pony. So far so good!!

Anyways, just wanted to say HI!!
