Default Passenger Door not sealing

Just bought my wife a 1965 coupe and the passenger side door is not sealing up right. You can stand on outside of car and push the glass to where it needs to be but there is a gap without pressure on it. Will new upper and lower door hinges fix this or can I just buy the hinge rebuild kits and fix this problem? Thanks for any advice.

open the door and pick up from the side that closes and see how much movement it has in it..more than likely there will be slight play but if its excessive they will need to be rebuilt/replaced...but more than anything over the years the doors have probably been removed and reinstalled and they are out of adjustment

Here are the possibilities.

The door hinges and striker need to be adjusted.

The hinges are worn out and need to be rebuilt or replaced.

The door glass and vent window angle needs to be adjusted.
