Barn find '72 Mach 1
Judging from your experience, can this engine be saved or is it a lost cause?

If the engine is seized up then it probably isn't worth salvaging. If it will rotate that's a good sign. Then you can hook a battery to it and at least crank it over and do a compression check on each cylinder. Check the VIN for the engine code to see if its an original 4 bbl car. The 5th digit should be either a Q or an R code if its the 4bbl Cleveland and desirable for collectors so it might be worth something in parts alone, assuming nothing is cracked or otherwise broken.

i cant get the link to work for me..but if the engine is seized you might just be able to pour some marvel mystery oil down the spark plug holes and let it sit for a week it might free up

I doubt '72 Mach 1s are a common car in Greece. It would definitely be a labor of love.
The great things about these cars is that anything, and I mean anything is rebuildable. All it takes is money.
That engine would need to be completely redone.
