Default what is this for?
My dad has 1965 mustang. This silver box was on it when he bought it. We have been looking for
another one with thus on it. A finally found it on a pick up. Does anyone know what this is and what it is for?

Is that a later model ford ignition box? Where do the wires go?

That is a FoMoCo Duraspark ignition box.

Looks like it was converted to electronic ignition...one less thing to do.

Yup that's exactly what that is looks like the power box that came with the 351M engines.
