Default Colors

Alright so I have decided that in the spring I will be buying another 67/68 mustang coupe. I already have the transmission for it and I am currently working on buying the paint I want. However I can't decide what I want to do with the paint.

I want to add some more color on it, like a silver or white. Just not sure what to do. I don't want to do racing stripes, super snake stripe, or 2 tone. I have considered the Terlingua paint style, just not sure how it wold look.

Any ideas?

Specs.

67/67 coupe
XXR 531s or Varrstoen ES7s
Sonic Blue

Here is the color I'm going with.

I don't want a 5 spoke or styled steel wheel. The machined face ones would look best. They are about $1000 though.

haha no 5.0 emblem this time. I look at old pics of the 67 and I wonder what I was thinking when I put those on.

EDIT: Found something very similar to what I would like. Just remove the emblem and rocker panel molding.

That makes at least 3 of us

That one looks pretty nice...I thought mine sat low. It would look good with the emblems removed as you suggested.

is it pretty solid metal, engine and suspension wise?

Good color choice. +1 on not running the pimp-daddy wheels. The classics are classic for a reason.

This one will be pro touring style. I'm looking at some enkei wheels as well.

Gun Jam that is just a picture of one I found on google. I won't be looking for one until February or March.

You should make a trip down towards Birmingham and see the mechanic working on my 69. He seems to find mustangs left and right for really good prices. He currently has a nice 68 coupe (needs some body work) now at the shop.

Oh and I also have plans for my 69 to go Pro-Touring style and eventually put the Nutek Concave 710 Series on my car.

But my mechanic did find some inexpensive (sell later) Wheel Replicas that are new called the MD 455 Classic.

I know they are probably big pictures for the forum but in a hurry and I thought this way you can see more detail in the wheels.

I like the sonic blue I had thought of doing Kona Blue at one time on my 69. I am a long way from paint though and have several colors bouncing around in my head.
