Here are a few pictures of the FE 428 PI that I have been building for the past year. If you've been tracking my build progress you'll know that I just closed in on a set of Holley 4160 600cfm carbs that I had nurse back to health.

For the carbs I boiled them in lemon juice for 15 minutes. I then soaked them in Simple Green for 24 hours. I scrubbed them hard with a tooth brush and green pad. And then! I used some Eastwood Carb Paint (cost me $90 for shipping to Hawaii...wtf?) for the body and plates. I plan on putting them, each for a few days, on my present motor, just to ensure that they work correctly and do not leak.
