I'm looking at a set of 2005 Mustang Halibrand style wheels for my 65. They're 16x7 with a 39mm offset, which, by my calculation comes down to about a 5" backspace. From what I've seen on previous posts, a 4.25-4.5" backspace is the ideal so I'm concerned with the clearance with the suspension. Anybody have experience with these wheels? Thanks.

You would probably need wheel adapters that bolt on and space them out, especially in the front.
