My 64 1/2 has a little rust around the windshield. Can anyone point me to a good article or something on the steps to repair it?

pics of how bad it is?? is is just rust scale or full blown holes?

I haven't removed the windshield yet so I don't know the extent. With the windshield trim removed I see one area near each lower corner, above 3" inboard of the corners. What I can "see" looks like scale on one side and maybe a hole on the other once I start getting into it

Everywhere else I think will be okay.

if its just scale then id sandblast the area with a spot blaster. then wipe it with some alum based body filler(all metal, metal to metal) block it, prime with it epoxy prime sandable primer then topcoat

Rust is almost always at least 3X more then what is seen....
Let's see pics, words and descriptions won't cut it.

Minimal that windshield needs to come out and get what is behind there and causing it and then repairing it.

i think its gonna have pinholes at least after you spot blast the area. hopefully its not worse under the rubber
