Default need expert opinions

I purchased this 1969 mustang in running and driving condition, all it needed was a bit of brake work. Im local law enforcement where I live so I was able to find out a bit about the car before I bought it. I am the 3rd owner. a lady in DC owned it for nearly 50 years then it was purchased by a gentleman in VA then by yours truly. What I cant verify however is the milage. The story Im getting is that until the guy in VA bought it the original owner kept it in a barn for nearly 40 of her years of ownership. The odometer reads 3328 now and the title I received/have states "Actual Milage:3325" but Im aware theres not a whole lot of ways to tell if the odometer has rolled over. This is where the more experienced folk come in, based on these pictures does this look like a barn find with only 3328 miles or does it look like a road car with 103,328?

Thanks,Rick

from looking at the pics. I would lean towards the later for the following reasons.

*Carpet is far too deteriorated for only 3300 miles even being stored in a barn.
*The body appears to have been repainted at some point. (white paint on rockers pealed off revealing blue paint underneath)
*Underside has way too much road grime build up for so few miles.
*interior is quite faded for having been inside a barn
*amount of rust under car could be be conducive to the type of floor or lack of in the the barn. (40 yrs on limestone will do this) or it's been out side more than they are telling you.
*the rust in the corners of the door aren't consistent with having been stored in a barn. (under an open air lean too maybe, indoors no)

But those are just my observations and opinion.

I found the rust surprising too.

Things that can been good indicators

The drivers door: How much wear is on the bear claw latch post?
The mechanisim that keeps the door open uses two rollers? Is there any noticeable wear on them?
When the door is open and you lift up on it is there any vertical play?

What belts are on the engine?
What air cleaner element is is the air cleaner box?

I also think its got over 100k on it as well

Pedal wear and wear under of the carpet under the pedals. Older carpet is not as durable as today's carpet and it will have tell-tale heel marks unless it has only 3300 miles.
