Default Headers for inline 6 200ci

I am looking at cj pony headers with dual output. I have read that the header will burn up stock starter because it touches it. has anyone had this problem and what did you do?

If it touches, then someone did a bad job of designing them, stay away.
If there is some clearance, you can wrap one or both the header and starter, or put some fiber glass insulation between them.

I know that some people have put headers on there 1966 in line six just wondering how it was done and what headers did you use.

I was hoping to here from someone who has done this mod. Maybe they had different headers. If someone has done this I would like to know which headers did you use and did it cause problems with starter.

I had this done several years ago. I bought the headers here: http://www.vintageinlines.com/

I had an local shop do the installation and have had zero issues with the starter.

Lots of good info here too: https://fordsix.com/

Clifford's used to make some that were supposed to fit well. I have no idea how they were installed though. We never tried.

Default Header gasket

Hey, I saw that you have a header in your inline six too. I was wondering if you have had any problems with the gasket getting brunt up. My header is eating gaskets and I'm looking for a new gasket to fix her right. Thanks.
