Default Help a rookie in need, puhlease.

I've got a 68 mustang coupe. This might seem like a silly question to some of you, but I'm new a this (not just restoration but auto mechanics in gerenral) so here goes. I've managed to do a lot of things so far, including rebuilding the steering control valve, but I find myself struggling with a seemingly simple item. I blew the fuse for the horn when installing an aftermarket seeting wheel. All the books I have indicate that the fuse for the horn is in the headlight switch, rather than on the fuse panel. My question is, how do I get to it? It's buried under the dash, and I can't find any way to remove it from the outside. The best I can tell from the literature I have is that there is a horn **** release button on the top of the headlight switch, but I can't get in under the dash far enough to reach it...if it's actually there . Do I have to take the entire dash apart, or is there some trick I don't know...please help! Thanks in advance.

If I recall, the little push button release is on the side of the switch, not on the top.
