Whistle at 80 miles/hr. 1969 coup, 351w
For the last year I have noticed that when I am taking my 1969 stang to 80 miles/hr or above I get a high pitched whistly. This hasn't always happened and I have been just staying below 80 so the noise doesn't make an appearance. The noise continues wether I have the accelerator depressed or not, as when dropping back down to a lower speed. The noise is high pitched and seems to be coming from the front of the vehicle. I don't know if there is a component of the engine or another system that could be making this noise at higher speeds, or if possibly it is wind making the noise. The sound begins consistently just as I hit 80 miles/hr and dissapears just as fast as I reduce my speed to below 80. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated. I don't want this to be something that could lead to a major problem down the road.
Thanks in advance,
James

I know in my 69 coupe, my passenger side window doesn't go up all the way, it is about a millimeter or two short of hitting the weatherstriping. I get noise from that especially at high speeds.
