BTW, It was all one color and looking real good when we bought it in 2001. We have been VERY SLOWLY doing alittle sanding and body work. Now we bought a paint gun, it should be moving along quicker.

Nice car! You know we were looking that very car. (and our search continues)
I just dropped off our 3 day old '67 coupe to get all the fluids flushed and oil change (250 miles on the new engine) Brake and power steering fluids were NASTY!

Hey, nice car, I have a C Code of the same car, 67 convert. Do you have any inner rocker rot issues? I was told they are common on the convertibles and would be interested in discussing this with you...how you might be fixing them. Let me know! Thanks!

RE: pics of my 67 vert.
not to be Mr. Negative, but count on it. My radiator support crossmember has one very minor soft spot, not a big deal, but my rockers were gonzo. My whole fact finding process went like this: Took old carpet out and noticed floors were kinda bad (not noticeable from underneath because of the damn double floor pan). Replaced floors, oh by the way, the rockers need fixing. What I find crazy is that the rockers have holes, but my torque boxes, shock towers and main frame rails are all original and PERFECT. For some reason, on the verts, the rockers go much easier than everything else. I am being told by some places that I must have the old rocker cut out and replaced with new. Of course that's HUGE bucks. Some others are telling me its fine to prep the old rocker and use the sleeve/rocker patches as long as they are welded onto good metal. What's funny is that my doors open and shut like a new car. You'd never know the rockers were in rough shape until you took out the floor pans. I was told that since stangs are unibodies, the rockers are a big deal here, unlike some other cars. Any thoughts? I need help here as I had one rocker patched and don't know whether to patch the other one the same way or just have them both replaced or just sell the damn car!!!!
