authenticate a shelby???
Im looking at a '68 Shelby to purchase. Its on the road, and Im getting it damn cheap. How do I authenticate that its legit, with the original engine. I can get the VIN and the engine serial number, is there a website or a book where I can check to see if the engine matches via the VIN?
Are there any other ways to check if its original?

Here is a comprehensive web site that is 68 Shelby specific. After reading all the links in it, you should have a good idea of what to look for.
