they are making an 07 or 08 california special mustang available everywhere. once again, its a GT with shelby options.

Nope not a screamer, that's for sure.

Man I just left the guys house that had this car.
He has a 70 boss 302 car in near mint condition with only 20k mi.
I still have drool on my chin.

Anyway does anyone have a link to a site that can decode a build tag?

That IMO is why there won't be many collectors from the newer years. They make too many of them.

and past that, some spoiled little rick kid is gonna get it and wreck it. it's not the same as it was back than, younger people are getting more powerful cars handed to thema dn the mods paid for and than wrapping the thing around a tree. prime example, a kid i went to HS with got a brand new gt stang when he turned 18 for graduation (2002). within 6 months had it wrapped around a tree and than, here's the kicker, was handed a brand new 03 vette! "here son, you've proven to us you can't handle the power of a mustang so we're gonna give you an even more powerful corvette!"

and BTW, the faq's are the ones at the top of the classics page, not the main forum.

The only 1968 California Special GT/CS`s that were actual GT`s were the ones with the 302 4V, 390 4V and the 428 CJ. They could be ordered with any engine combination as other regular 68`s. Check out www.californiaspecial.com
