Which OIL and how Much!

RE: Which OIL and how Much!
It looks like a simple pan gasket, but not positive.
About the switch back to conventional, I just drained the synthetic (letting it drain for while), and was planning on going with the conventional 30. I read that it was OK to do this, but ive also read that its not reccomended. I have no idea what im supposed to do at this point.
If its not OK, what are the probs? If it OK, then whats the deal? Do tell if anyone knows, Ive read both arguments.
And some type of oil is going in that car in the next hour.
Thanks again.

Like I said. Buy the cheapst 10-W-40 that walmart sells. Yes you can go back to dino oil after running synthetic. Hell, you can even run them both at the same time. What do you think synthetic blend is. Now, Straight 30 weight oil is not a good idea in an automobile engine. That is for lawn mowers, etc. You don't get the detergent in the straight 30 weight that you do with a 10-W-40 oil.
