whats the up with old a/c units?
i have an a/c unit in my 65 and did some reading the car needs to be on to work is that right? well wheni do get it to start one day i figure i will probibly need a refill on the coolent, i want to keep it original but i hear u cant get the old a/c charged cause its bad for the enviorment and they dont sell it anymore, is it possible to keep all the old a/c stuff without a big conversion? and how much will it cost to get a charge if possible with the old stuff or do i need to get a totaly new a./c system?

Actually, the only thing that needs to be changed when converting over to 134A are the nipples. The R-12 nipples are smaller. If you have it done at a shop, it will cost you about 200 bux for everything.
