Please clarify: Do you have a 351W, 351C or 351M?

If he is really trying to put a 351M in there, he won't be done anytime soon.

A 302 or 351W or even a 351C would be easy.

since you have a 65 you have a limited amount of engines to swap in. you could get a used 289 or 302 for relatively inexpensive, it would be a tight fit but you could even squeeze a 351W in your car. by no means is it cheap. there was an earlier thread about a falcon 6cyl engine that had 300+HP, if i were you, i would want to do something like that.

Yeah, can you imagine the list of parts that would be in the kit and how much the total package would wind up costing? You simply must get parts from the pull apart places if you are going to afford a swap. You could buy a built V8 model cheaper than a kit would cost you.

the engine is a 351M going into my 67 coupe. i already have maxed out the engine's potential for hp thats how the rod went
i have one guy that has a runing 302 that is carb for $300 and then they guy i work with which has the 351m for $500 i was going to go with the 351m since it has about 400hp in it now but i also dont want to do something that is going to be the bigest pain in the ***. is the 302 really that much easier? whats needed to swap for both engines just to get them runing and able to drive the car with out going all out? also the 351m only has 8miles on it since it was copletely rebuilt
