Hi All,

Im going to get some new wheels, but have a couple questions. Right now I have 14 inch wheels on 225/60/14, but want to move up to a 15 inch centerline. What Im worried about is the size, I can get a decent deal on the centerlines and the size of them are 15x8 5 lug on 4.5 ..... so will this fit in my 65 coupe without any problems? -- the lugs are all good -- but will the wheel well be ok, no rubbing? I even have just a little bit of rubbing when in reverse with the wheels turned now with my current set, but i think thats because my springs are finally giving out -- not even sure about the springs it just recently started this rubbing. Let me know what you all think.

uhh....ur rubbing with 14's??? i have 17's and no rubbing at all....might want to look into suspension before wheels.....

i see 1 problem r u running the 225's all of the way around or just in the rear cause im running the same size tire on my 14in rim in the back and i know for a fact it is a pretty good sized tire

Wheel and tire fitment has more to do with back space and width. The stock back space is 4 1/2. I've seen guys go with 4 3/4 and still clear. Any more than that any it won't make it. There is some stuff in the FAQ about this. I would try there.
