I thought it was BS, but it really exists.
It does. On the recent TV show, Mustangs Across America, they made a stop in Mustang, OK. I think that's where the 80-year old man drove in the dark and did some damage to his car along with his tire, and fortunately some guys came along to lend him a spare.

He bought the car new and it was a family car and with the 4 kids would go on vacation in the little Mustang Coupe!

Yes it does exist it is actualy a suburb of Oklahoma City.
