Default 69 mustang wheels

I have 69 mustang fastback and I'm on a quest to change the look of my newly painted and completly redone fastback, Heres what I'm thinking Foose Nitrous wheels 18x10s in the back and 17x6.5s on the front the staggered look! tires are I think they will be If i remember 235x40 I went to a local custom shop and spoke to a real nice guy about just what I was thinking and he seemed to get it. I now have magnum 500s brand new not road mile on them and 135x60x15s that has only rolled o the ground backforthout of the garage will be up for sale soon do you think 700.00 is fair?

18x10s in the back and 235x40
Uhhhh...no. get a better shop. If all you want to run is a 235 then you put on an 8 inch wheel.

I'm ordering new cragar ss now. going 15x7 and 225/60 up front and 15x8 245/60 on back. IMO big wheels don't look good on classics.

Foose Nitrous's are way to exaggerated for a classic. Mag 500's and TT's are good but a little over done. What about some 17" Hopsters if you want the restomod look?

Yep, the 16's look good on a large body Mustang, but anything bigger looks out of place. And, 16's on a 65-66 look wrong. You should never consider larger than 15's on a 65-66, and nothing larger than 16 on the 67 up. What was that? A goatee on Mona Lisa? I like that analogy.
