Mine loves to cruise between 70 and 80 on the highway. I have had it up well over 100, but wouldn't want to keep it there for more than a few seconds.

The speedo in my car goes to 120 and I have had the needle past that until it was actually hitting the "H" in MPH at the bottom of the guage. The funny thing about it was that the car actually seemed to squat a bit and hug the road quite nicely. I was young dumb and full of %&* when I was driving the car as such and these days much prefer the cruising aspect of classic mustang ownership. [8D]

The speedo in my Falcon goes up to 100. It's got the original 170 cid I-6. I've had it up to 80-85 but I didnt keep it there for more than about 5 seconds. Getting up there took a lot less time than I expected. I usually never pass 60, never going up to 80 again though.

I too had a '66 hardtop up to over 100 mph, but not my current fastback. It's not that I baby it, but I've just never taken it over about 85. It's very comfortable at about 75, and that's where I keep it for long highway drives.

Bout 25 years ago had a 73 mach and a 69 cougar eliminator that would run around 110 pretty easy, ive only run the 69 im playing now about 75 mph. , but it would fly if i turned it loose.
