Default Where can I find original door lock clips?

I hope this isn't a needle in a haystack thing. The aftermarket door locks I bought are fine, but the clips are garbage. So far one has popped out twice, and that's after it was bent to keep it in place. Originals are extremely tight to get in -- these aftermarkets slip in and then fall out they're so poorly made.

I don't want to keep having to fix it, so where can I find originals?

Thanks

Yes, but they're too worn to be used.

None of the junkyards around here have 1966 Mustangs -- I've checked several times since I only like using original stuff on my car.

Used is what I want.

My Mustang restoration guide lists it as part 22023 but so far, no luck finding a used one

Keep your eyes open on ebay for NOS (New Old Stock). I see them come up every once in a while when someone else buys out a collection of old parts. Also, there is a guy on the internet that sells NOS stuff. I can't remember the website, but a google search on "Ford NOS" might get you there.
Lastly, a big swap meet might attract the Ford NOS guy, so keep your eyes open for a Good Guys, or All Ford meet.

Good luck,

Scott

Thank you! I'll call him today and see if he has what I need. I also need a screw (no comments) for my passenger door window crank, godnose where mine went.
