Default Questions 69 fb w/ pic

Hello

Ok, then

NowI took a few pic of the engine bay area, will do more as I have more questions

2 questions

Was told to take a pic of the front suspension tower to see if it has been upgraded to hold the 390 engine, Im guessing I have to get under it and take some photos but I havent gotten under the car today so it will have to wait a sec, here is a pic of the left front shock mounting atleast

and then I saw while fiddeling around in there that its stamped a few numbers and names in there

intake manifoil from Edelbrock? after installed or was that something that came stock?

and a name poped up on the motor, any info about this one?

streetmaster 390

While upload more pic as soon as the questions enter my mind

And if anyone wants any picture of something to compair or are just curious just ask and I will get some, modern technologi with digital camaras are a blessing

Thx for any help people

Erik

The Streetmaster is a single plane intake that was made in the seventies. It has small runners so they work fairly well on street engines. The operating range is from off idle to about 5500 rpm. As for your VIN, I'd just like to throw this out for your consideration. If I had to bet, I'd say that the inner fender VIN stamping is either different from the VIN on the dash and door or missing altogether. I think your car was built as a big block car, not the six cylinder as the vin says and that it got a new identity somewhere along the line. Just a hunch. Anyhow, I hope you get it sorted out.
