Default brake hose/dual exhaust for 66

Hey everyone,

It looks like I am going to have trouble converting my 66 from single to dual exhaust. I realize there are kits out there to deal with this issue but was wondering if there are alternate approaches such as using wraps or any other shields around the brake hose or possibly even a wrap around the exhaust pipe that goes nearby? A single piston master cylinder makes this risky so I wanted to get others' opinions.

Any help or suggestiongs would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

Fred

I wouldn't feel comfortable with that. Brakes are something I like to make sure are 100% correct. You could always go to a brake shop and ask them to change it for you. At the same time why not upgrade the master cylinder to a dual reservoir?
Pretty cheap insurance!

Good luck with it,
