I need to replace mine as well. Im just gonna take a 2-3 inch piece of hose and stick it on there instead of buying the replacement thing..
Go ahead and get the entire length of hose and place it where I showed you in the picture. You wouldn't want to get onto a flooded steet and have water get in there.

Here's a picture from this weekend after driving it up to the mountains near big bear in So Cal. My trip up there was the reasong I was checking my brakes in the first place. BTW I made it up and back brakes did fine. I did smell a little buring smell once near the bottom of the hill but overall no problems.

As you can see she needs some cosmetic stuff, paint bumpers etc. and yes I do know I need rear leaf springs to bring up the rear end. But as we all know these things are a work in progress

Them old shoe brakes got to smoking on you coming off the mountain, huh? Looks like a good staight car Doc. Certainly worth spending the time to get her restored.
