Default New Mustang

Hello everybody, i own a classic mustang. As far as i know it, its a 289 V8 1966 coupe. I was just wondering if anyone would be kind enough to show a kid the ropes about performance parts and can give me a general idea of what those performance parts do.
I would also like to ask if its not too much about the different brands i might consider for the particular part. For the most part my dad and i are working on teh interior and im guessing we are just putting in a regular interior.(not pony?)

That's a tall order. Too many areas to cover such as suspension, engine, steering, etc.

Here is an article on horsepower and efficiency you can start with.

Yeah, Cannonball is correct. We need to know what you want the car to do after everything is done to it. Do you want an original classic, a street racer, a 1/4 mile racer or what? Knowing what your end result will look like will determine which direction we go. So, let us know.

Well there is fuzzy dice, they hang from the rear view mirror. Then you have the vinyl stickers so popular with the tuner crowd, they are rumored to make hundreds of HP just with the application. There are snake oils and things to put in the air filter, there are huge wheels and thin little tires... [/sarcasm]

Dont do any of that.. please? You wanna go faster? just ask...

Welcome..

And, don't let these guys tell you that you need to check your blinker fluid and the bearings in your mufflers.
