final got rid of the 80 rubber arial!!!!
well i got rid of my horrible 80's rubber arial but damn i brought it from cj pony parts and it so high it needs a strobe when full extended as i live close to schiphol, must be 2.25m of the ground when full extended great for picking up uk radio in the netherlands, plus i saw a nice fastback and convertible today in around leiden not bad considering they were never imported

That's the beauty of the original radio antennas. You can extend them as much as you like. You can also extend them full length and put a ribbon on the tip so you can locate your car in a parking lot.
