Default Haywire Electric System

hey all
my car has been acting funny the past few days, and i was just wondering if anyone could suggest where i should start to pinpoint the problem(s):

1. radio/windshield wipers dont work when car is running, but will turn on if key is turned to "accessory"
2. horn works only every now and then, never when i need it to
3. wipers turn on by themselves every so often

either my car is haunted, or worse, i have to deal with wiring, which i know absolutley NOTHING about. can anyone help me? thanks in advance.

Default RE: Haywire Electric System

I would start by taking a look at your ignition switch harness plug. It is possible that the previous owner had performed a botch job on it. Check out a wiring diagram from a factory manual, you can usually purchase at any mustang shop for about $35.00. I am going thru a similar problem with my 68' Fastback. Good Luck!
