Front spring opinion
Im getting my rear suspension kit next week so Ill soon have to be considering front suspension options. Main thing I need to do is get new springs. I want a 1 inch drop to match my rear end, so should I get normal cheaper springs and cut them or buy 620 that are already an inch cut?Any other options than 620? I have 351W if it matters any

go with the 620's and you can always cut them down too. They drop about 1" 1/4", and taking another 1/2 to full coil out will bring the overall drop 2+". Performance wise, they are a nice rigid spring, cut or uncut.

Keep in mind that when you cut the springs, the rate goes up. May result in too harsh a ride. 620 are already pretty stiff. However, I think the general consensus is that 620's w/ the drop are the most commmon upgrade spring wise. They also make higher rate, I think 750?, but they are more suited for a big block. To much on a street small block. The 620's with a one inch sway bar, monte and export brace and gyb gas shocks will make a night and day improvement over stock. Might as well do the ball joints and bushings too and you will be all set up front suspension wise.
Good luck.

with significant lowering, dont you also have to be concerned with bump steering?

In regards to the increased spring rate, yes it will stiffen things up even more to cut a coil. but I didn't notice any difference between the stock 620 and the cut 620's (cosmetically however, there was a HUUUGE difference...the car has a nice rake to it).
