Default My Hood scoop is on!

Just finished getting the fit right and need to get it painted the same color as the car now... What do ya think?

ahhh slick, you didn't get a full hood!? Looks like you did a pretty good job, but are you gonna try and make it look one piece?

At this time, its not functional. However, it's all setup to be that way.

well you got a nice flush fit for it to be a two-piece so it looks pretty good.That glass hood you got your eye on will really look good on that car. Nice work slick

(im also curious if your going to make the one you just put on functional...let us know!)

Thanks, it for a 2004 mustang, I had to do some sanding to get the curve close in order to get it to fit. I had not planned on making it functional, a friend of mine is busting my chops to make it that way. For now, its going to be non-functional.

function really only helps with cooling for me. Im sure getting the extra air in there probably helps a little on performance, but probably nothing that you would "feel". Make sure its bolted down good though if you don't have a place for the air to escape into the engine compartment...itll be like sticking your hand out the window at 50 and making a cup with your hand
