Default Cleaning Aluminum Intake

My aluminum intake is stained with years of oil. I have removed the greasy buildup from it and I am now trying to remove the oily stains. I have tried a pressure washer to no avail. I have had some success with carburetor cleaner.
Does anybody know of a good way to clean aluminum?

You can get your intake hot tanked. Most radiator shops have these, they basically dip the item in a hot acid solution, the thing will come out lookin damn near brand new. THen when you get it back, clear coat it.

aircraft stripper worked well on mine. I was advised against using a wire wheel brush, it leaves deposits in the aluminum that will rust over time.

Bead blasting is the way to go - I checked around a couple auto stores they recommended someone locally worked out great - got all oil stains out.
