Default Speedo

my speedo used to be correct untill i changed to a t-5, i got the gear that was supposed to work but its way off it says 10mph when i go 25, and says 30 when i go 65... what could be the prob?

what adapter? its still a mechanical speedo i just had to change the teeth on the cable, you mean the right gear?

What is your rear end ratio and tire revolutions per mile?
How many teeth on the gear you bought?
What is the color of the speedo gear on the output shaft of the transmission (ie 7 or 8 tooth)?
