17" bullet wheel question?

Default 17" bullet wheel question?

will the newer style 17" bullet wheel and tire combo"s that there takeing off the 2004-2005 mustangs fit the 69 with all hubs without rubbing?

You may as well just PM or email DodgeStang, as he is our resident tire and wheel fitment guru on here. Didn't we have a similar discussion about this sort of thing last week? I think the wheels on my 03 Mach1 would look outstanding on my 65, but I know for sure that the BS and the width would not fit.

yes we did, but i havent chosen my wheels yet. been trying to choose from old style cragar ss, american raceing torque thrust or the cragar sst. i was just wondering about these newer bullet wheels.

Then do the math. Width of the wheel, Backspacing, and tire height. Not rocket science.

doing the math isnt a problem! but i dont have the wheels laying here in front of me. this is a forum isnt it? im looking for somebody who allready knows!

im thinking they might have too much offset? but im not sure. they list the offset in millimeters! they might as well be talking in a foriegn language because i dont know metric measurements.

u want the 2002-2004 bullits preferrably they use a 1 inch in the front and a .50 in the back to clear but most run 1" in th erear also to keep the track looking correct! heres a pic of the spacer i used and the wheel on the car now the 05 and up wheel got to use a 1.25 spacer i beileve in the front

thanks, that exactly what i wanted to know. i wasnt sure about the back spaceing, i guess the spacers have studs on them and just bolt on useing the original studs right? how much do the spacers run$$$? that a nice car you have there!!!!!!

thanks i got mine from dallas mustang 99 for the front and 99 for the rear u can find them on ebay for about 50 a set but i wanted a company i could find if it caused a problem yes they just bolt on. thanks for the compliment
