Default Mufflers for 69 mach i

Hey, ive posted this before, but i want to get some more opinions. We just put in a new 351, and were wondering what kind of mufflers would sound good, im looking for that bitchen musclecar sound, kind of like flowmasters, but a little different, please poest, id love to get some opinions. (Doesnt nesisarily need to fit, were getting a completely custom exhaust put in) also, i was wanting to get some opinions on getting cut outs.

Thanks.

I like regular flows better, because they got louder interior resonance, which is what i like.

hey,
I am running flowmaster super 40's with cut outs and i like them. I have original 40's on my other car, a 69 cougar with a 351 cleveland. they both sound great. i think the super 40's are a bit deeper and the original 40's but the originals have nice popping sound on acceleration. the cut outs are great for the times when flowmasters just arent loud enough.

Well, first, I would like to say: It's a 69 Mach, run straight pipes! No need for mufflers!! LOL!

But seriously, either the Flowmasters or Bassani if you have the extra dough. I had a set of bassani custom duals on my 87 Dodge Ram, it sounded boss! But it costed me sooo much to do!

+1 if you want nostalgic sound then you want glass packs or magnaflows are a glasspack except with a steel wool type stuff instead of fiberglass
you could also look into moroso spira-flows those are nice but my fave has to be Purple Hornies
